Real Change by Varun Hiremath
Behind every number, there's a story. Here, you'll find real narratives and data from Varun Hiremath's work in rural upliftment, financial inclusion, and digital empowerment. These are not just projects — they're lives transformed.
Turning Vision Into Action
In Narangi, the Hiremath Family Foundation established a digital learning hub offering after-school classes, computer literacy, and remote education support. Students get access to quality content, career mentoring, and skill-building courses they otherwise wouldn't have.
To acknowledge the commitment of teachers in underserved regions, Varun's foundation conducts special recognition events on Teachers' Day, handing out awards and resources to rural educators working under challenging conditions.
In one initiative, more than 300 schoolchildren in the Panvel area received new shoes and basic educational kits. The goal was simple but meaningful: reduce barriers to attendance and boost confidence in students.
To help youth in rural areas build a future, the foundation runs workshops teaching computer basics, online freelancing, and small-scale entrepreneurship. Participants come away with practical skills they can use for part-time work or local business.
These stories remind us that impact is personal.

Varun believes that sustainable change is rooted in access, dignity, and opportunity. These projects reflect three core beliefs:
Quality education opens doors to opportunities and helps individuals break the cycle of poverty.
Practical skills that align with current job markets create sustainable income opportunities.
Creating pathways for personal and professional growth regardless of background or location.
The goal is not just to run programs but to nurture ecosystems — where communities take ownership, sustain impact, and keep growing long after external support ends.
