Empowering Futures Through Education and Leadership

The Hiremath Family Foundation endeavors to improve the lives of the rural Indians. Our programs in Education & E-Learning, Health & Hygiene, Digital Literacy and Skill Development enable young people and women to better their future. We have an aim to serve the underserved communities by giving their skills, education and support in the form of e-learning centers, health camps, digital workshops and vocational training.

Education & E-Learning

Education Support in Rural Areas

Good education remains a distant reality in many of the rural locations in India. This is being dealt with by the Hiremath Family Foundation which is opening community centres equipped with computers, teaching materials and teachers. We have now centres that take students between Class 6 to 10 to help keep them in school, improve their grades and consider their future.

The risk students are now doing well and not dropping out thanks to digital modules, English lessons and exam support. The project already exists in Alibag in Narangi village and is targeted to expand across Maharashtra.

"The start of it all is education. But when good schools are not available, we take the school to the child - on screens, in mentors, and with heart."

Health & Hygiene

Good health is the start of learning, growing and feeling respected. We combine our efforts with local doctors to organize health camps every month where free health checkups, medicines and information is given. We also distribute sanitary kits, nutrition packs and educate children and their parents on elementary hygiene.

Digital Literacy

Education Support in Rural Areas

It is no longer a privilege to be online, it is a lifestyle. Our program will focus on empowering the rural children, teenagers and women with the relevant skills required to maneuver and use basic technology. We are enabling underserved groups to feel comfortable using the internet, typing, sending emails, and mastering Microsoft tools through weekly workshops; as such, our rising underserved community will be prepared to enter the digital era.

We also have Microsoft-certified courses in high school kids and housewives and we make sure that all Indians get a chance to be a part of the digital growth and transformation of the country.

Skill Development

Most of the youths and women in rural India have valuable skills but cannot afford to use them. To counter this, we have come up with our Skill Development Program that includes training in tailoring, handicrafts, basic business skills and financial education. Through such provisions we enable people to earn their own income and establish sustainable livelihoods.

We assist young graduates to create appealing resumes, prepare them to face interviews, and learn how to dress professionally to help them feel good walking into the job market.
